Album Covers – Fonts

I chose to look at fonts due to the Artists style, therefore i have looked at artists such as Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston to be inrelation to our artist.

Celine Dion

The font for the album covers above contain two different types of fonts:

•  A Swirled Effect.
• A Boxed Effect.

I preffer the boxed font as it seems to be a more modern theme, however beneith is an image of the two fonts used together, which also gives a nice effect as the name of the artist is in the formal more modern font which is the boxed font, then the name of the album is in the swirled font to seperate the two from eachother.

Whitney Houston

Tall Boxed Font

In relation to the boxed font, this first album cover of Whitney Houstoin i collected through inspiration uses a Tall Boxed Font which i like the look and adaptation of from the original font i have looked at.

Mariah Carey

I purely just looked at Mariah Carey's album covers due to the constant use of boxed fonts and the postitioning of the font on the page. I love the idea from the last image with the text going down the side of the page.
