Inspirational Album Covers - Colour Coded

I have chose to look at the black and red themed album covers purely due to the fact that we originally wanted to use a black and white look in the music video with a particular colour showing up being red. These album covers i chose due to the equal share in colour and the great usages of contrast. They all also include images of the artists themselves, which we have chose as another specification.  

Inspiations Album Covers - Poses (modern artists)

Rihanna:

I chose to look at Rihanna because i not only love her music, but on the other hand her poses on the albums she produces are all mainly of her looking at the camera or a close up image shot of her face. This in my eyes makes it more personal, and people can automatically recognise who the albm belongs to, not only by name. I also recone we should incloude a mid angle camera shot onto the back of the cd case like the image above of Rihanna's, this therefore also gives a lovely visual to the audience.

Beyonce:

The album covers above from Beyonce are also based on the used on close -up camera shots and mid angle shots of her face, however i still took images to gather inspiration from as she provide a different variety of poses from Rihanna although they are both of their faces.

Ellie Golding:

I looked at Ellie Goldings Albums Covers due to the effects used on two, i love this sparkling effect and hope to add it onto our album cover. Not only does it attract viewers eyes but it gives a professional feel.
