We created a questionnaire and asked people to answer this for us as our Market Research, we each asked ten people and from the ten people i asked i have learnt that people enjoy a combination of both old and new music. I think we should defiantly take this into consideration when thinking of our music video because as the song we have chosen is an old song, we need to hopefully try and make it more modern and hopefully then it will appeal to more people.
In four of my ten questionnaires that i handed out to people they said on the question 'Do artists in music videos influence or inspire you in anyway' that they did and because of their style and fashion , this makes me think that we also need to consider this because we need to make sure our artist outfit and style fits with the style of the video but we also want to make her stand out and appeal to people to make them want to watch the video.
Also in most of the questionnaires given out people said they attended concerts monthly and festivals weekly. This lets us know that they keep up with music and like modern music and all different kinds of music but they have stated they also like old music too. Some of the favourite artists stated where Beyonce, Adele, Bruno Mars and then some older artists such as The Beetles and Elvis.
Therefore now i have learnt all this from my market research i think i will do some extra research into some of these artists most popular songs and see how they will influence me and give me ideas for our music video
