Possibilities For Clothing

I have chosen to look at the fashion side of the music video after the results from the market research outlined the fact that fashion was a big inspiration given to the viewers. I have investigated smart casual as the song is soft rock, this will therefore be more appropriate to the genre and also then the music video as we are aiming to make them relate.

Smart Casual Examples.

Smart casual, as distinct from business casual is a loosely defined dress code, casual, yet "smart" enough to conform to the particular standards of certain Western social groups. As "smart casual" is not formally defined, the lines between it and the other casual styles are often blurred and changed with in social class.

There are six Categories of Casual or Informal Dress code.
1) Active Casual
This clothing is mainly appropriate for sporting activities, you could even class this as sports wear ut without a uniform! This applies with working out in the gym, running, rollerblading, biking, playing tennis, racquetball, golf  any sport you enjoy really. Just a few examples: Jogging suits/ bottoms, warm-ups, wind suits, running shorts, tennis skirts, biking shorts, leggings, leotards, snow-ski garb, etc.
2) Rugged Casual
The Rugged Casual category are more outdoor sports clothing that people may still wear everyday, for example walking shows or rain coats. For example the sport include, hunting, fishing, backpacking, rock climbing, etc. However people who wear this type of clothing everyday or often usually has a hoobie in the sport or a job.
3) Sporty Casual
This category is not about playing a sport, but more about the relaxed look of a spectator. Let's say you are wearing cotton pants, shorts, or jeans, a heavyweight T- or sweat shirt, a button-down or polo-style shirt, a belt, and tennis shoes. Anytime you are wearing a sneaker-type shoe with jeans, khakis, walking shorts, skirts, etc., and you are not participating in a sport, you are dressed in the Sporty Casual category.  Sportswear has been synonymous with casual separates in the fashion world for years. Today, the sportswear section of a store includes everything except suits, dresses, and formal wear.
4)Smart Casual
Again, if you are wearing jeans, wearing a jacket upgrades you to Smart Casual.  This category demands a pulled-together, harmonious, complete look with colors, fabrics, shoes, and accessories, for both men and women.
5)Dressy Casual
Dressy Casual demands that the outfit be well-coordinated and accessorized.
For men, this category indicates dress trousers, a turtleneck or mock-turtle version, a dress shirt or a silk sport shirt, a tie and a jacket or sport coat.
6) Business Casual
Business dress has three primary categories: Power Business, General Business, and Business Casual. While Business Casual attire is a recent addition to traditional business dress, it is no longer considered to be a trend.  It is a comfortably relaxed version of classic business attire, with no sacrifice of professionalism or personal power. Business Casual draws from the aforementioned Smart Casual and Dressy Casual categories, with many distinctions. True Business Casual attire incorporates the more tailored garments from those two classifications.
Out of the sixcategories i have looked at i would consider the fashion in our video to be smart casual for a completed look where everything is pulled together neat and looks tidy. Possibly jeans or leggings, high heels and a nice casual shirt or top, accessories include with make-up and hair done smartly. I dont want the colouring to be too colourful however nice creams grey and pale colour will go really well with out artists skin coplexion.
