Stan - Anaylsis
Genre characteristics - Rap/Pop - When slow music it is simple with Dido just sitting and singing. When rap music it has faster movement.
Relationship between lyrics and visuals- In some places - says girlfriend pregnant and then we see her pregnant, also when he says he's eminems biggest fan the visuals make this clear.
Relationship between music and visuals- In some places- We can see the artist singing the song, when it is faster music there is faster movement and sometimes flashing lights.
Are there close-ups of the artist and star image motifs - yes - the video and the artist appeal to the audiance. It is a different, creative video.Close up seven seconds into the video.
Is there a reference to the notion of looking- stereotypical - it looks like the man is in charge and bossing the woman around.
Are there intertexual references- no
What category is the video - Amplification - shows a story but very creative and dramatic.
